Random attack: Japanese man turns himself in after he stabbing stranger on street

A 22-year-old man has confessed to the stabbing of a Japanese businessman last month. On Nov. 9th the victim, who was waiting at an intersection in the Katsushika district, was attacked and stabbed in the right calf.

The businessman was taken to hospital where he received stitches for his injuries.

The attacker left the knife, but police were unable to locate the man, until he turned himself in on December 16.

The police are investigating the case further as the victim has stated that he did not know or recognize his alleged attacker.
