Paris terror attack: Jihadists shoot dead 10 Charlie Hebdo magazine staff, 2 police

A massive manhunt is on for at least three men who attacked the offices of a satirical French magazine on Wednesday, killing 12 people in an apparent terrorist attack.
Sometime before 11.30 a.m. two or possibly three masked men armed with Kalashnikov rifles entered the offices of Charlie Hebdo.
Witnesses say the men opened fire on those inside while calling out names of magazine staff and the phrase "God is great" and “We have avenged the Prophet!”
It is believed they then got into a black Citroen driven by another person. Shortly afterward, they exchanged fire with police near the Boulevard Richard Lenoir, where they shot one of the two police officers killed. They also engaged with police on a nearby side street.
The attackers drove northeast to the city's 19th arrondissement where they abandoned the car on the Rue de Meaux and hijacked a second car.
Ten Charlie Hebdo staff are dead, along with two police officers. Eleven people are wounded, four seriously. The attackers are still at large.
