Woman delivers own baby: speeding, pregnant Utah woman delivers on the side of interstate highway

Devi Mariah Ostler is quite the badass, the 32-year-old spent her Saturday night speeding down the interstate before giving birth to a nearly 10-pound boy pretty much all by herself, according to a report by the Associated Press.

Ostler, 39-weeks pregnant, was on her way to the hospital, all by herself, after noticing her contractions wouldn't stop.

Hitting speeds of up to 75 mph, the mother of two, calmly called 911 to inform authorities of what was going on.

Mid-way through the call, she calmly told the dispatcher that her water had just broke.

"I'm trying to get over into the other lane — I need to push!" she said, according to the AP report. "The baby is coming!"

She next pulled over along I-15 in anticipation of possibly having to deliver the baby all by herself.

Less than a minute before she gave birth, however, help arrived.

In our books, though, she pretty much did it all by herself.
