Josh Paler Lin interview: was the prankster’s video of a homeless man spending $100 a hoax?

Josh Paler Lin shot to success after a series of prank videos racked up millions of online views allowing him to quit his day job and focus solely on becoming a Youtube star.

Lin made international headlines in December, with his video “How does a homeless man spend $100?” which has racked up an astonishing 33-million views on Youtube.

The homeless man, Thomas, took the money, and to Josh’s and pretty much every viewers’ surprise, bought groceries and shared them with other homeless people in a park.

The story went viral and more than $100,000 in donations poured in for Thomas.

But soon, reports surfaced the entire thing was staged, a claim Lin flatly denied in our interview.

Lin says he recently flew Thomas’ father out for a visit and that he’d set up a trust to help Thomas get his life on track.

Expect to see more pranks, updates on Thomas and a big screen appearance in the future for Lin.
