Surveillance camera catches man trying to kidnap baby boy in Washington state

Surveillance camera footage shows a man attempting to kidnap a 22-month-old toddler and then being chased by the baby's siblings in Sprague, Washington.
Michael Wright left his three children with a babysitter before he left for work on Sunday. The children, Brendan, 10, Delicia, 8, and their baby brother Owen went to a nearby park to play. At the park, a man came up and started talking to the children before snatching Owen up and fleeing.
A surveillance camera catches the man running down the street with Owen as Delicia and Brendan chase the man. As she ran, Delicia was reportedly shouting, "That man got my baby brother! That man got my baby brother!"
The children's screams alerted the owner of a nearby antique store, who immediately sent her 15-year-old grandson and his 16-year-old friend to help chase the man.
The kidnapper, perhaps frightened by the prospect of being chased by two teens, put the child down in an empty lot and fled the scene. Local authorities don't believe the kidnapper is a resident of Sprague as they would have recognized him from the footage.
