Man gets hit by train: Achilles Williams is the second fitness buff killed by a train this year

Atlanta-based fitness instructor Travis Williams, who went by the name Achilles Williams, was killed by a freight train in Atlanta’s Dekalb County while filming a workout video.
On Tuesday afternoon, Williams was jump-roping at the train tracks near Roxboro Road in Atlanta’s Dekalb County while a friend helped him film. The 30-year-old Williams often filmed workout videos outdoors for his YouTube channel.
Williams thought he was far enough from the tracks when a train approached, but turns out he misjudged the width of the train.The train struck Williams as it passed by, killing him upon impact. The train also knocked over the friend filming.
Williams isn’t the only fitness instructor to find out there’s a chink in his armor this year, as Bravo star and fellow trainer Greg Plitt was struck by a train in January while filming an energy drink commercial. Plitt, possibly high on energy drinks at the time, underestimated a train too when he tried to outrun an approaching Metrolink train. Who knew a train was faster than a mere human?
