Japan Has Magical Weight Loss Candy!!! - Food Feeder
  • 9 years ago
There are magical lollipops in Japan that will help you lose weight!! Ok, so technically they’re just long-lasting lollipops that people are using to curb sugar cravings. But look how the guy who makes these lollipops dresses! There’s gotta be at least some magic involved!

The candies in question are called 60 Minute Candies, and they’re an extra-large, extra-long-lasting lollipop that are supposed to last a full hour’s worth of sucking. (Sucking in a good way). They’ve been around for a while, but they’ve enjoyed a recent surge in popularity as a weight-loss hack.

But the real story here is the fashion sensibilities of , Flat Nomura, owner of the 60 Minute Candy Company. He’s basically got a look going that says “I’m Willy Wonka. But with a mustache.” Which is a statement we can definitely get behind in Japanese entrepreneurs.

Do you think taking a small taste of candy is a good weight loss strategy? Are you delighted to learn that Willy Wonka is, in fact, a real person? Do you have other weight loss strategies that involve eating candy? Can you tell us about them?
