Colombia: Court considers adoption by gay couples

Colombia's Constitutional Court is currently considering whether to allow gay couples to adopt children. A 4 to 4 tie has been reached in deliberations and liberal judge Jaime Cordoba will make the final decisions. Attorney Sergio Estrada has argued that gay couples are a family, and children have the right to a family regardless of whether it is composed by a man and woman or by a couple of the same sex. Natalia Margarita reports from Bogota for teleSUR.
