Trevor Noah, that’s racist! New Daily Show host and Jon Stewart successor bashed for offensive jokes
  • 9 years ago
There has been quite a stir on social media since Comedy Central announced it had selected South African comic Trevor Noah to replace Jon Stewart on the ‘Daily Show’.

Noah, 31, joined the show's cast in December and only appeared in three episodes before being selected for the anchor chair.

Noah's sense of humor including jokes about Jewish, South African, and American culture didn't sit well with some who called some of his material, which he admittedly noted fell flat on Twitter, "anti-semitic."

In response, Comedy Central said they stand by their selection and support Noah's "provocative" sense of humor.
