Media reported that Censor Board of India that’s controlled by BJP government directly or indirectly has banned a film Unfreedom that explores the topic of homosexuality.
The story of a young girl who resists getting into a forced arranged marriage to spend her life with her lesbian partner.
As per media reports Following the Censor Board's refusal, the director says he appealed to the Film Certification Appellate Tribunal but no avail. Just a guess why Censor Board has banned the movie?
Banning by Censor Board is just damaging the image of BJP and indirectly it sends the message that movie is not passed only because the masters will like that.
