Dear Friends,

I mentioned that leg work has an indirect effect on the whole body.

When you train them intensely the demands placed upon these muscles stimulates your body to produce much higher levels of testosterone and growth hormones.

Also, the legs are referred by some as the second heart. Working the legs hard gets the heart pumping like nothing else.

In mays monthly DVD I show one of the most intense exercise know for the lower body. This drill is a look at the Yang way of training. Too many get caught up in just this way of thinking, hence there are all kinds of injuries.

And worst yet it can increase the aging process when overdone, just look your typical marathon runner. They look gaunt and emaciated.

It’s important to have balance and employ the Yin way of training…..or what is referred to as ‘Power Postures”.

By holding a position for set periods of time, one can achieve incredible power as well as strengthen the tendons and ligaments of the body.
