As part of its Images of Change project, NASA is featuring before-and-after images of the same place to show the effect of natural disasters, man-made structures, and climate change on different areas around the world.
Evidence of a changing planet can be seen on NASA’s website - Global Climate Change: Vital Signs of the Planet. One of the many features of this site is a series of revealing before-and-after pictures.
Begun in 2009 and taken by satellite and aircraft technology, the agency’s Images of Change project provides side-by-side photos of the same place over time to document the environment changes that have happened through natural and man-made causes.
