Ecuador launches project to recover indigenous languages

In order to make reparations for historical injustices and strengthen Ecuador's intercultural identity, the government is working with citizens to recover 14 indigenous languages. The number of people speaking their original languages has plummeted in recent years. Radio is playing a key role in the effort to foster communication between people of different indigenous nationalities. Liz Scherffius reports from Quito for teleSUR.
