His life forever changed on the 16th of January when his wife Erica passed away from medical complications, only hours after she had given birth via c-section to their four children.
Sadly, she never had the opportunity to hold the babies because right after the births, Erica was rushed into intensive care.
Initially, it wasn't clear what went wrong, however PEOPLE has reported she went into hypovolemic shock. For Carlos, the grief is overwhelming, but he's doing his best to carry on with life for the babies.
