After over a decade, the story of young Naruto Usumaki wrapped up in cinematic form in The Last: Naruto the Movie. After 220 episodes of anime, 9 other movies, and 700 chapters in the manga, was “The Last” a fitting end? Dave and Anna will let you know!
The Last’s story takes place between the last two chapters of the Naruto manga (two years after the fourth great ninja war), and is the first movie that’s actually canon. It has a different feel than previous movies, because mangaka Masashi Kishimoto was very much involved in its production.
