Activities were held in Venezuela today to mark the first anniversary of the violent right-wing opposition protests, known as the Guarimbas, and to pay tribute to those who were killed and injured. In an ecumenical ceremony in Caracas, Attorney General Luisa Ortega Diaz said all the victims would obtain justice and the guilty parties would be punished. Meanwhile, thousands of youth marched in support of the Bolivarian Revolution on the 201st anniversary of the Battle of Victory in Venezuela's struggle for independence. teleSUR
