This live stream is brought to you by emerging filmmakers, currently in training on the Roundhouse Bloomberg Broadcast Volunteer Programme. The show will kick off at 7:30pm.
The Wednesday night of Rising sees electronica pioneer Tim Exile headline a night showcasing the music of our breakthrough Resident Artists – a select roster of talented young musicians aged 18-25 who have progressed through our creative programme, developing their skills and professional experience.
Audio maverick and technical genius Tim Shaw began his musical journey as a classical violinist. His experiments in electronic sounds have since taken him to big stages around the world and landed him an album on Warp Records.
Tim Exile’s more recent shows offer deep improvised techno sounds that are filled with fun and surprising moments.
The night also sees performances from our Resident Artists, including powerful vocalist Fran Lobo, who will bring her hypnotic, soulful sounds back to Rising after a stand-out performance last year, artist/producer on the rise Cynikal will return once again to show off his unique hip-hop sounds plus Karyma will open the show with her R’n‘B / jazz infused alternative pop.
