Several pilots found themselves having to implement their impressive skills when they encountered some fierce crosswinds during their landings at Birmingham Airport on January 28. As the planes were approaching the runway they were suddenly caught in a crosswind squall which is a sudden, sharp increase in wind. Luckily the pilots were able to land the planes without incident.
