Salil Tripathi talks about his book on Bangladesh - The Colonel Who Would Not Repent: The Bangladesh War and its Unquiet Legacy.

He highlights the important messages that are communicated to Indian audiences through the book.

He explains his experiences with Syed Faruque Rahman, that man who was behind the killing of Mujibur Rahman. Tripathi had ravelled the length and breadth of the country, through which he offered the portrayal of a nation whose political history has been "punctuated more by tragedy than triumph.”
