The Newshour Debate: Arvind Kejriwal trolls Kiran Bedi - 1

For our viewers who missed the Newshour last night - Kiran Bedi in her first interview after being nominated as the Chief Ministerial face walked out when asked the Anna Hazare question. This evening we realised why. Anna Hazare on Wednesday (January 21) snubbed both his protgs who have taken the political plunge to enter a deeply personal battle. Hazare said, "This subject has come up again. I don't want to wade into this dirt. I don't want to be involved in such political dirt." On Bedi joining the BJP, Hazare said, "I don't want to comment on that." Hazare, who is believed to have stated that the former IPS officer did not consult him before joining BJP, told reporters at his native Ralegan Siddhi village in Ahmednagar district that he will decide the next course of agitation on Janlokpal issue after the Delhi Assembly polls. But, we won't just discuss that - we will ask both Bedi and Arvind - on who really is running away tonight.

In a debate moderated by TIMES NOW's Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami, panelists -- Dr Sudhanshu Trivedi, National Spokesperson, BJP & Political Advisor to Rajnath Singh; Dr Aijaz Ilmi, Political Analyst & Member, BJP; Sunil Alagh, Chairman, S K A Advisors; Raghav Chadda, Leader, AAP; Prof. Kamal Mitra Chenoy, Professor, Centre for Comparative Politics & Political Theory, JNU and Kumar Ketkar, Senior Journalist -- discuss the issue -- who is the real 'runner': Kejriwal or #Bedi?
