Controversy over Lala Lajpat Rai felicitation

Kiran Bedi began her road show on Wednesday(January 21)by paying tribute to freedom fighter Lala Lajpat Rai, but that gesture has snowballed into a huge controversy. Arvind Kejriwal took aim at Bedi after she garlanded the statue with a BJP scarf saying. He said it is wrong to saffronise freedom fighters. The BJP in turn has defended Bedi's move, saying it was done solely as a mark of respect.
