The windows of a Rolls-Royce may have saved a man's life after a shooting. On Friday evening, Kameron Segal was sitting behind the wheel of his $300,000 car in Los Angeles when he was shot in the upper torso.

Although he was struck, Segal escaped the ordeal with his life. According to a friend, the thick glass used in the luxury model's windows may have slowed down speed and impact of the rounds.

When police responded to the scene, they found Segal still seated in his Rolls-Royce with gunshot wounds to the chest and neck.

He was transported to a local hospital where his condition was listed as stable. The shooter could not be located and remains on the loose.

Witnesses described the suspect as a black man in his 30s or 40s who was riding a 10 speed bicycle
