Audi Launches R8 LMX Priced At Rs.2.97 Crore

It may look like just another Audi R8, but this one is really different. No seriously…we mean it! It’s the Audi R8 LMX with laser-enhanced LED high-beam headlamps.
Audi launched the laserlight technology on its R18 E-tron Quattro LMP1 race car and then promised a production version of it at Consumer Electronics Show this year.
The eyes on R8 LMX employ the same method when traveling above 37.3 miles per hour, using a tiny laser module in each headlamp that, after conversion to white light, can throw a beam about 1640 feet down the road. Impressive, isn’t it?
