Blasphemous Sketches: world being pushed to War-like situation: Altaf Hussain

The founder and leader of Muttahida Quami Movement Mr. Altaf Hussain strongly condemned the publishing of blasphemous sketches in a French magazine.
MQM Chief said that such attempt could force the world into a war-situation. He said that the Ummah (the global Muslim community) should react wisely and analyze its weaknesses. He said that the Muslims should also create unity among themselves.
Mr. Hussain said that the blasphemous sketches were published before in Denmark, Norway and France and it was repeated again in France now. He said that it should be condemned and nothing to do with the freedom of speech.
He said that it was an unfortunate tradition to make violence during the protests against the blasphemous sketches. He said that people should not vandalize public and private properties during the protest demonstrations.
MQM Chief said that after 9/11 incident, American President George Bush deliberately uttered that the crusade was started but Muslims did learn any lesson from it. He said that by publishing the blasphemous sketches, they did not want to incite the Muslims but to push the world into a war-like situation.
He raised the question that what were the reactions of Saudi Arab and other Middle East countries, including OIC against the blasphemous sketches. He said that Muslim countries should make delegations to discuss the issue with the western countries and tried to convince them for not doing it again.
Mr. Hussain said that the publishing of blasphemous sketches was condemnable and should be condemned but peaceful manner. He said that people should organize peaceful rallies and protest demonstrations against any such acts of affronting the sacred entities.
