FIFA’s list of nominees for the best goal of the past year contained some of the most illustrious names in world football, including Diego Costa, Robin Van Persie and Zlatan Ibrahimovic. Alongside them was Irishwoman Stephanie Roche, who scored a fantastic goal and a viral video hit when playing for Peamount United against Wexford Youths in a Women’s National League in October 2013.
