'Getting married isn't a crime' says Imran Khan amid secret wedding storm
Cricket legend gets married to former BBC weather girl.
Pakistan cricket legend Imran Khan has married former BBC presenter Reham Khan amid a controversy over their secret wedding and initial denials.

The 62-year-old former Pakistan captain and World Cup winner has admitted to marrying Khan, a former BBC weather girl, after having previously denied it publicly.

Imran, who is now a leading politician in Pakistan, initially said reports of his re-marriage were "greatly exaggerated" but has now moved to defend the union.

The pair reportedly married last month in a secret ceremony that has provoked hostile reaction in Pakistan, online and from his own family.

"I am going to Pakistan to share the good news of my marriage with the nation. I have nothing to hide," Imran said, before adding: "getting married isn't a crime."

Going on to defend his decision, the cricket hero said: "A person can marry whenever he/she wants."

According to the Daily Mail, His sister Aleena reacted with anger at the news, saying she doesn't want to meet the new Mrs Khan. But his former wife Jemima Goldsmith, for one, has publicly wished the newlyweds well.
The 62-year-old, who is the head of the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Party, has married the 41-year-old Khan - a divorcee and mother-of-three.

She lived in Britain for part of her previous marriage, when she was a presenter on the BBC regional news programme, 'South Today'.

On New Year's Eve, Mr Khan said rumours of marriage were 'greatly exaggerated' and his sister Aleema said the family challenged him 'a few days ago' over the news and he denied it.

But that has seemingly now all changed
