City Bus Driver Flies Through Windshield During Horrific Crash

A city bus driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico miraculously survived a horrific collision.
A city bus driver in Albuquerque, New Mexico miraculously survived a horrific collision.
Video footage shows the man sitting contently behind the wheel, but moments later his bus plowed right into a small silver pickup that was crossing through his path of travel. Reportedly the motorist ran a red light.
Following the crash, the ABQ Ride bus veered off course, jumped over a curb and struck a Route 66 sign where it came to a stop. The collision caused the bus driver to fly out of his seat and through the broken glass of the front windshield.
Despite that, both he and the driver of the pickup managed to live and neither one was badly hurt. The bus operator simply got up after the incident and placed a phone call.
An ABQ Ride spokesperson commented “It was a crash that was unavoidable. If you take a look at the video, there was nothing he could have done to prevent that crash.”
