Bahrain has seen a week of clashes after opposition leader jailed

Demonstrations continue in Bahrain, a Shia majority country ruled by a Sunni minority, over arrest of main opposition politician Ali Salman, for alleged incitement of violence. Salman has been held for a week, accused of seeking to overthrow the monarchy by force. His detention has been condemned by many of Bahrain's allies including the United States. teleSUR
