Stampede kills dozens in Shanghai

It should have been a celebration to mark the arrival of 2015 in the Chinese city of Shanghai.
It ended as a deadly stampede.
At least 35 people are dead.
More than 40 others were injured in what some say was a rush to pick up fake money thrown from a bar above
At Shanghai Number One People's hospital friends and relatives wait desperately for news of loved ones.
(SOUNDBITE) (Mandarin) RELATIVE IDENTIFIED AS MS FAN SAYING:
"I just want to know what's going on inside. Many relatives asked to go inside and asked the hospital for a list of the injured including the conscious and unconscious ones who are being treated in there, but nobody got back to us."
Survivors spoke of the chaos and panic as the stampede erupted.
