A 63-year-old pizza delivery driver for Domino’s was recently killed in what police believe is a robbery case. The victim, Najeh Masaeid, had worked as a driver for the chain for 15 years.

Police believe he was killed for about 20 dollars, maybe even less.

He was found dead inside an apartment complex on Sunday evening in Birmingham, Alabama.

According to Domino’s staffers, Masaeid was called to take an order to the property, but after he was killed, police learned the apartment in which the pizza was supposed to be delivered to is vacant.

He was murdered by blunt force trauma, as he had suffered from a fatal head wound. A bag containing pizzas was found near the victim and his car was still running when officers first got to the scene.

Masaeid’s family in now left in shock over the brutal killing, as are his co-workers. A gofundme page has been set up to help the family pay for funeral expenses.
