The players used their own money to purchase Brandon a car, as he was forced to walk pretty much everywhere he went. Carter said they simply wanted to help him out, especially because it’s the holiday season.
24-year-old Brandon is the Grizzlies’ personal assistant. He had been out on a date when his early 1990s era Chrysler New Yorker was stolen.
He was exceptionally grateful for the Nissan Altima that was given to him as a present, but later admitted he wasn’t sure how they knew he was getting around without a vehicle.
