Consumers flocked to electronics stores in Moscow and other stores across Russia on December 18 as they rushed to spend their rubles before prices catch up with the currency’s decline. Items were disappearing faster than they could be stocked on shelves with retailers selling goods straight from storage. The ruble has lost half of its value in recent days and hit an all-time low of 61 rubles to $1. Credit: Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty
