Government of Paraguay to tax fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants

The government of Paraguay will impose a value-added tax on fruits, vegetables and medicinal plants in the country in 2015. Consumers, producers and experts agree this measure is unfair and believe it will aggravate socioeconomic inequality.
