December 7 marks the 20th anniversary of the mysterious death of 3 Costa Rican ecologists in a fire. Oscar Fallas, Maria del Mar Cordero and Jaime Bustamante were members of the Ecologist Association of Costa Rica (AECO) and carried out actions to protect the forests and against multinational companies and mining.
