The investigation into the death of actress Misty Upham has revealed that she passed away from "blunt force injuries."

On Wednesday, the King County medical examiner's office revealed how she died, but made it clear the manner of death has not yet been determined.

Upham went missing in a Seattle suburb in early October of this year. Reportedly, the last time she was seen, the 32-year-old actress was walking out of her sister’s home.

She disappeared around the time her family told police she might be suicidal. A relative, who was part of a search team, found her purse and body in a ravine less than two weeks later.

Investigators did not find any signs that indicated foul play was involved in her death.

Her family later claimed she fled into the woods to get away from cops. They also alleged previous mistreatment from officers towards Upham. Police have denied those accusations.

They believe the injuries to her head and torso resulted from a fall. The actress’ father said he does not think she committed suicide.

Upham has appeared in films such as ‘Django Unchained’ and ‘August: Osage County.’
