Vishnu Sahasranamam is one of the most sacred stotras chanted by the Hindus. It is recited daily by the devotees of Lord Vishnu. In Sanskrit, 'sahasra' means thousand and 'nama' means name. Thus, Vishnu Sahasranama literally means thousand names of Lord Vishnu.
