Member of the MQM Co-ordination Committee Mustafa Azizabadi has said if the PPP leaders could teach the young chairman of their party to respect elders, they would not have to face this embarrassment because of his haughtiness and insolence.
Commenting on the statement of PPP leader Jahangir Badr, Mustafa Azizabadi said that instead of asking the MQM leadership to respect the PPP leadership, he should ask Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to respect MQM leader Altaf Hussain and other political leaders.
Mustafa Azizabadi asked Mr Badr if the PPP Chairman had done a commendable work by hurling threats at Mr Hussain. Those who try to hide the mistakes of younger people instead of admonishing them are considered equally responsible for their mistakes.
He asked Mr Badr to pay attention to the objectionable and threatening statement of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari instead of saying anything about Mr Hussain.
Commenting on PPP Senator Saeed Ghani, member Coordination Committee Muhammad Adil Khan said MQM Chief Mr. Altaf Hussain is a patriotic Pakistani and does not need any certificate of patriotism by a so-called leader.
In a statement issued from London Secretariat, Adil Khan said that the irresponsible statement of Saeed Ghani hurt millions of Pakistani expatriates and for that he should apologize to them. He said that Mr. Hussain never commented without thinking thoroughly on the serious matters and that was the reason, he took time to ask explanation from PPP leadership.
Mr. Adil said that the howling of PPP’s leadership on Mr. Hussain’s rightful stance seemed like thread in the thief’s beard. He suggested that rather accusing one of the biggest political parties’ leader; PPP leadership should justify its allegation and should apologize to the nation.
