US: Policeman who shot and killed Michael Brown resigns

Darren Wilson, the policeman who shot and killed unarmed African American teenager Michael Brown on August 9 in Ferguson, Missouri, resigned his post, saying that he feared for his safety and that of his fellow officers. Ferguson Mayor James Knowles said Wilson, recently acquitted by a Grand Jury, would not be receiving severance bay or any other work-related benefits. teleSUR
