Video obtained by Reuters purports to show survivors of a Syrian army air attack, assessing the damage.

Syrian government air strikes have increased since the U.S.-led coalition started attacking Islamic State positions inside Syria in September.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights says that over the past month nearly 1,600 have been launched by the Syrian regime -- killing nearly 400 civilians.

It says more than1,500 have been wounded in the attacks.

Analysts say the increase in air strikes nationwide could be aimed at weakening pro-western rebel groups...

...before they get training and equipment promised by the United States.
