Pope prays for God to "bring down all the walls" that divide world

On the 25th anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall, Pope Francis is calling for all barriers that divide the world.. to be knocked down.
(SOUNDBITE) (Italian) POPE FRANCIS SAYING: (SOUNDBITE STARTS OVER SHOT OF CROWD)
"Let us pray that with God's help, and the cooperation of all men of goodwill, that a culture of people coming together, able to bring down all the walls that still divide the world."
In 1961 the Berlin wall was built to stop East Germans from fleeing to the West. At least 136 that tried to flee were killed. Many more wound up in jail.
Berlin is celebrating this 25th anniversary by releasing a massive illuminated balloon installation into the sky, letting go of the past, and welcoming the future.
