I started my natural hair journey back in September of 2010 but I never did a big chop because I didn't want to lose length. But after two years of slow growth, split ends, and hair falling out I've decided my hair needs the big chop!
My ends have been damaged for two years due to perms I used to use on my hair. I was afraid to do the BC but now I am scared not to trim my hair because my split ends have caused my hair to regress in length.
So follow me as I restart my hair journey starting today August 13th 2012. Starting today I will be documenting the progress of my hair every month giving you in depth updates on my length, tips, and products i am using.
