Military promises to cede power in Burkina Faso

The United Nations has called for a calm and peaceful transition to civilian government in Burkina Faso after the nation ousted its long ruling dictator Blaise Campaore and the military took control. Interim military leader, Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zeda, has promised that the military will step back and hand over control to civilian leadership. teleSUR
