Thousands protest Burkina Faso army's power grab

Thousands protest in Burkina Faso's capital, Ouagadougou, to denounce what they're calling a military coup.
They're angry because on Saturday the army backed Lieutenant Colonel Isaac Zida as the nation's transitional leader.
This, after mass protests a few days ago forced its long-ruling president, Blaise Compaore, to resign.
One sign reads, "The soldiers stole our revolution."
(SOUNDBITE) (French) UNIDENTIFIED DEMONSTRATOR, SAYING:
"The army should leave the public scene immediately. The army's role is to safeguard our national territory, so as far as I'm concerned, they've got to go."
The U.N. is urging a transition back to civilian rule as soon as possible.
