ABU DHABI: Pakistan's veteran batsman Younis Khan completed 8000 runs in test matches during the second test against Australia here on Friday.

Khan became the 28th batsman of the world and the third Pakistani to reach this milestone.

Yesterday, inform batsman, became the first batsman in 90 years to hit three hundreds in consecutive innings against Australia.

England's Herbert Sutcliffe was the last man to score three hundreds in three consecutive Test innings against Australia way back in 1924-25.
