Peña Nieto meets with parents of missing Mexican students

Mexican President Enrique Peña Nieto met yesterday with the parents of 43 teaching college students who were taken away by police in Iguala on September 26 ,never to be seen again. The president assured the anxious parents that justice will be done and that responsible parties will be punished. But faith is wearing thin as more than a month has passed and there are no signs of the missing- dead or alive. Citizens groups and federal police continue to search, and while they have found countless clandestine graves, there does not appear to be a link between these and the missing students. Unrest, strikes, and protests continue both in Mexico, and abroad. teleSUR
