Argentines mark 4th anniversary of the death of Nestor Kirchner

Argentines marked for fourth anniversary of the death of former president Nestor Kirchner, who passed away on October 27, 2010. His administration (2003-2007) will be remembered for its promotion of human rights, regional integration, and encouraging youth participation in politics. In 2005, at the Summit of the Americas in Mar del Plata, Kirchner along with Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez and Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva put an end to talks for the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas proposed by Washington. teleSUR
