Oncoplastic Breast Reconstruction after Lumpectomy or Partial Mastectomy in Connecticut and New York

Oncoplastic breast surgery is performed by Dr. Shareef Jandali at Jandali Plastic Surgery, serving Connecticut, New York, New Jersey, and Massachusetts.

Oncoplastic breast reconstruction is performed in breast cancer patients at the same time as a lumpectomy or partial mastectomy. The procedure uses a patient's own breast tissue to fill in the defect after a lumpectomy, leaving the breasts with a natural appearance. Both breasts are lifted if they are sagging or reduced if they are excessively large. Oncoplastic breast reconstruction does not use any implants. The procedure is usually performed as an outpatient procedure and there is minimal recovery. The procedure on both breasts is covered by insurance companies. Dr. Jandali has one of the largest series of oncoplastic reconstruction cases in the country.
