1st Reason: Your braids are probably too tight!
Tight braids overtime will begin to thin out so be careful!

2nd Reason: Its time for a new braid pattern.
You can train your hair to lay a certain way if you always wear the same part or the same braid pattern.
Slightly switching up your braid pattern will stop your hair from thinning in that common area.

3rd Answer: Along with the tips above, try a homemade remedies like using essential oils to stimulate hair growth.
Use the following essential oils and carrier oils to apply daily to your thinning or balding areas.
Make sure to only use a couple of drops of essential oil because this stuff is potent!
