New Afghan president vows government reforms

Ashraf Ghani, Afghanistan's new president, has said he wants to reform the government after years of dysfunction.
The former finance minister, who has only been president for two weeks, has already reopened the country’s biggest corruption case.
In a culture not known for keeping deadlines or holding officials accountable, for many Ghani’s strategy is a welcome change.
