The singer took to Twitter to voice his thoughts on the ongoing epidemic, creating a mild outrage amongst his followers and the CDC.

The recent Ebola virus outbreak has led much of the world to fear it reaching pandemic proportions.

Singer Chris Brown believes there's a conspiracy behind the virus.

He posted on Twitter that he believes the Ebola epidemic is being used as a form of population control.

The post read, "I don't know ... But I think this Ebola epidemic is a form of population control. Shit is getting crazy bruh."

This angered many people who took to mocking his apparent lack of information over what the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is calling the largest epidemic in history.

A few minutes later, Brown followed-up his tweet by saying he should, "shut up."

Both tweets were left unremoved on the social media site.

The World Health Organization, or, WHO, has called Ebola, "the most severe, acute health emergency seen in modern times."

The busiest airports in the United States have begun testing travelers returning from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea in West Africa.
